Friday's random linkfestoramastravaganza

Continuing the non existent theme of linkblog envy, here are some links!

First off we start with the Star Trek Fan who went bankrupt & got divorced turning his home into a spaceship. O RLY? YA RLY! Here's a link to the company he started, which was supposed to make money once he used his flat as a showroom and sold his services to others. 24th Century Interior Design

Next, we have a 9 year old child arguing over Chocolate milk on xbox live. The audio is NSFW (yeah, he's 9 and it's NSFW, gg parents)

On a Notes/Domino angle, there's another survey on Bookmarks vs the Workspace running at the moment. Direct link here on the good old www-950 server! I love their domain naming policy, really I do!

Here's a Firefox extension which is supposed to be an IRC client. I haven't tried this one yet, I'm suspecting after 6+ years of using mIRC that it's going to be hard to switch, but it's still worth a look!

Thinksecret posts apparent confirmation of a completely revamped new video iPod that will shed the ubiquitous mechanical click wheel for a touch screen and will sport a 3.5-inch diagonal display.

1up.com asks, is World of Warcraft the new golf? I say "YES! YES IT IS!" because golf is lame and so is WoW! There's a great quote in there which made me laugh, when the subject of the article writes about some of the people he plays WoW with:

...they don't travel in the same tech-centric, blog-heavy circles that Joi inhabits in real life. "Half of them don't even have blogs," Joi says.

OH NOES! THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE BLOGS? Well it made me laugh anyway.

Finally, a scientific experiment proving that Snails are faster than ADSL.
