While watching an episode of Captain Planet via the above link, I happened on a video from BowieChick. If that name means nothing to you, then I wouldn't be too worried. She's the girl who made videos about her Logitech webcam, Logitech then used some of these for marketing purposes, paid her nothing, and she still reckoned she got a good deal. Much blogging was then done about viral networking, which made people feel good by spouting the usual nonsensical crap which passes for societal commentary these days. Neato stuff. Anyway the point (and even as a non-lesbian, I do have one) is that that the 15 minutes of fame stuck with her, and she's kept on 'video blogging'. And I really don't get it. I watched a few of them, and a few from people she says are 'kewl', and really, it's just drivel. People really seem to dig watching these videos - why?
Maybe it's because I'm not the target demographic here. Maybe it's because I'm getting old and falling out of touch with what the hell it is that youth these days really aspire to, but I really just don't get it.
Anyway fuck it, I'll go watch some Transformers and get over it.
