A quick Notes/Domino roundup

A quick mention of a few things in the world of Notes/Domino.

I quickly read this IBM press release, and really don't know what it's talking about. I mean, it's talking about client options and Linux, but is it announcing something that has been released, or talking about a future release? Is this R7, or R8, or what? Regardless of whatever good work IBM might be doing in places, their press releases are still a complete corporate wankfest. "IBM (NYSE: IBM) today unveiled a new Open Client Solution for customers of any size or industry so they can help their employees better collaborate, improve productivity, and lower the total cost of information technology ownership." - is that saying 'we're doing the Notes client(s) on Linux, have fun!', or is there more than that? At a glance, I can't tell, and after a glance, I don't want to read more.

Those of you who are interested in Quickr can now read... wait for it.. the Quickr blog! I'm not too interested in Quickr, but I do find it funny that the site is implemented in php.

Any Domino developers who are interested in seeing some Ajax used with Domino have a few nice options. Check out projects such as Domgle (Version 1.2 was recently released), and Domino YUI

Finally, the half day extravaganze which is Lotusphere Comes to You 2007 is almost upon us. Check the schedule to see the dates and times for your city.
