SQL Injection
With automatic scanning of license plates becoming more and more common, it was only a matter of time before something like this popped up.
Last.fm wallpaper generator
Last.fm wallpaper generator generates you a wallpaper based on the icons used for the artists found on the specified last.fm account. Neat, but how about supporting 2560*1600, or 1920*1200? :)
"There were a lot of them"

The Fabled Optimus Maximus Keyboard
I don't feel so bad about spending huge amounts of money on keyboards after seeing the price tag for the Optimus Maximus.
WD releases 300GB VelociRaptor
Mmm, check out that heatsink. Link: Western Digital launches world's fastest SATA disk: the 300GB VelociRaptor
AutoGuitarHero - FPGA powered Guitar Hero System
I read the article, and then watched the video: It can't handle long notes and rarely manages to reach a 4x multiplier. When "Cliffs of Dover" finishes in the video above, his score is pretty average (I'm not sure whether it's on hard or expert). It just seem that the ratio of effort to results is somewhat outweighed here. As they say in Barrens chat, "LEARN TO PLAY n00b!" Tags: Guitar Hero
No CSS Reset
No CSS Reset is one of those posts which makes me glad that I specialise in the nuts and bolts side of web work rather than in the world of interface and design.

WebServ is a DOS-based web server that runs on any x86 based machine with MS-DOS 5.0+. QuickBASIC source code also included.. I'm tempted to put DOS on a machine just to try it out.

Quake 3 + iTouch
A short video showing 2 iPod touches running Quake 3 multiplayer. The thought of entire train carriages engaging in multiplayer gaming during their morning commutes shows that the human race may indeed have some hope for the *future.

Area Man Annoyed By Lotus Notes
Damien Katz is having trouble making Lotus Notes work properly. Damien is a smart guy, and so that combined with some of his history makes it kind of an amusing post. Maybe. I dunno anymore. Maybe the first few comments where people are trying to work out if it was a serious question or an April Fool's hangover added to the amusement factor.
