Your USB keyboard (or coffee cup warmer) could be harboring a Trojan keylogger... or worse! What’s interesting here is that it’s using a flaw in the USB plug-and-play spec and that it has taken so long for this to be mentioned openly.. is it wrong that it makes me want to go out and create some fun hardware devices?
What’s also interesting is thinking about the potential for a next generation of virus scanners aimed at hardware which may come about in the future.
